Mr. Park is an entrepreneur who has built several successful businesses serving Orange County and Los Angeles County. He is a retired educator who ran a vocational school for Dental Laboratory Technology for almost thirty years. Mr. Park is currently CEO of property investment firms, Newton Plaza LLC and Bake Parkway LLC, and Newton Dental Laboratory. Mr. Park received his MS from California State University, Fullerton. Mr. Park is a founding director of USMB.
Mr. Dong Il Kim was appointed as a director and CEO of the Bank in November 2013 after spending three years at Saehan Bank, where he successfully participated in the removal of a formal regulatory order for that institution and participated in the subsequent sale of that institution to Wilshire Bancorp. Prior to that, Mr. Kim was the Bank’s founding CEO and member of USMB’s original board. Through Mr. Kim’s leadership, the two concurrent Consent Orders in place were removed within fifteen months. He has grown the bank from one banking office to six full service banking offices and one loan production office.
Mr. Ennabe was elected to the BOD in November 2015 and is President of Ennabe Properties, Inc. He is an experienced and successful business person with a long history in the business community and along with his business associate, provides a source of financial strength to USMB. Mr. Ennabe brings expanded depth to the Bank through his network of business relationships and, along with his business associate, provides broader representation of shareholder interests. Mr. Ennabe and his business associate were a significant participants in the Bank’s 2015 capital offering and maintain significant deposit relationships with USMB.
Mr. Lee was elected as a director for the Bank in November 2014. He is President and Chief Executive Officer of KCC Transport Systems, Inc., a transportation and logistics company providing air, sea and land transportation services, as well as warehousing distribution and customs clearance services. In his business position, Mr. Lee provides an extended network of business prospects to USMB, as well as a source of capital where he was a significant participant on the Bank’s last two capital offerings.
Mr. Stewart Kim is a Managing Partner and Founder of investment banking firm PGP Capital Advisors, LLC. He developed the firm’s strategy and led the organization since its inception in 2003. The firm’s unique specialization areas include providing M&A advisory and private placement services to leading ethnic-owned businesses and advising corporate clients on cross-border transactions between the US and Asia. Stewart began his banking career in the M&A Group at Merrill Lynch in New York in 1989. Mr. Kim also served as a Director of iaxis, N.V. and World Streaming Network, Inc., as well as several non-profit organizations, including The Korea Society and The Weingart Center. He was appointed by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa in 2005 to serve as Commissioner on the City of Los Angeles Affordable Housing Commission. Mr. Kim earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Dartmouth College and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Johann Minkyun You is a former senior executive with hands on knowledge and experience in all aspects of risk management areas. He was the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Bank of Hope and was responsible for all areas of risk, compliance and BSA management. Prior to Bank of Hope, Mr. You was employed by HSBC USA where he was Senior Vice President and Head of Enterprise Compliance Risk, responsible for compliance risk strategy, risk assessment, risk reporting, compliance risk systems and compliance issue management. From 2006 to 2011, Mr. You was Managing Director and Head Consultant at IMAG Consulting Services LLC, where he spearheaded numerous operational, regulatory and risk-based projects for large global financial institutions. Mr. You earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Binghamton.
Mr. Rushfield is currently Adjunct Professor of Finance and Strategy at Pepperdine University and the University of Redlands. Prior to that Mr. Rushfield has over four decades of commercial banking experience in senior-level capacities with Bankers’ Trust Company of New York, Republic National Bank of New York, American Express Bank, and Bear Stearns. He has served as a board director at Safra Bank of California and American Premier Bank. He was a member of the Advisory Committee of Comerica Bank of California. He also served on the boards of Gridcore International Systems, Long Beach, California and Agriboard Industries, Dallas, Texas. In addition, Mr. Rushfield served on many non-profit and community development boards. Mr. Rushfield was founder and Managing Director of Asia Development Partners and RLR Advisors, and a Director of Capital Partners in Bratislava, Slovakia, reflecting his long experience and residence in Asia and Central Europe.
Mr. Gang is a Certified Public Accountant and is the managing partner of GSK Accountancy Corporation, and is an original founding member of the Board. Mr. Gang is also a founding director.
Mr. Chun is a Certified Public Accountant and President of C&Y Accountants, Inc. Mr. Chun is an experienced bank director, having previously served as a board member for Uniti Bank, Buena Park, California.
Mr. Yi is a managing director of TDI Capital, LLC. He served as a Certified Public Accountant for 15 years, in which 7 years were with Deloitte & Touche Tax. His diversified background as a professional, investor and business entrepreneur allows him to provide a balanced perspective. He also has extensive banking experience with emphasis on community banks.
